I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) since 2003. I received a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and a post degree specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary. I worked for 20 years in youth ministry serving youth and their families before I began in this field in 2000. I specialize in marriage and family therapy and enjoy working with couple/relationship issues, parenting issues, and parent-child/teen conflicts. I assist adolescents, teens, and adults who are experiencing depression, grief, anxiety, and developmental issues. I have been trained to treat people for gambling addictions and have also received EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training to assist people recovering from trauma. Additionally, I am a Minnesota State Board approved Supervisor and, as such, can supervise people in their post-degree, pre-LMFT licensure process.
